LEGO Icons 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter has some amazing minifigures

The brand new LEGO Icons 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter impresses not only thanks to its build but also its exclusive array of minifigures.

Coming on February 1, 2024, 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter is the first and only LEGO model based on the Dune movie franchise, giving the LEGO design team a chance to include many exclusive minifigures. With only one film at the time of writing and the second part releasing on March 15, 2024, this may well be the LEGO Group's only chance to make Dune minifigures, so they've understandably gone all-out.

From left to right in the above image, the minifigures are Duncan Idaho, Lady Jessica, Paul Atreides, Gurney Halleck, Liet Kynes, Leto Atreides and Chani with Baron Harkonnen in his long robe (on the transparent stand) in the background.

Most of these feature leg printing as well as an exclusive and massive robe cloth element. The variety of new faces is likely to be appreciated too and the designs can be integrated with other sci-fi models with relative ease.

Even to those not familiar with Dune, these minifigures are undoubtedly a highlight of the £149.99 / $164.99 / €164.99 set, which you can find out more about by clicking here. Alternate images of the model reveal another face print for Duncan, Lady Jessica and Paul too.

One minifigure, in particular, might remind you of a certain Star Wars sequel trilogy character – thanks to the similar outfit choices of Lady Jessica and Supreme Leader Snoke.
