With more than 150 new LEGO sets launched in January, hundreds of new and recoloured LEGO pieces made their debut at the same time.
If there are new elements catching your eye in a new LEGO set that launched this month, but you don't want to to buy the whole set just for one piece, the LEGO Group's Pick a Brick service could be your saviour. The service allows you to buy individual pieces, ideal for bulking up a collection or sourcing elements for custom builds.
Not everything makes it onto the Pick a Brick service, with elements from licensed themes less likely to appear, and it takes a few months for parts to appear. For example, new pieces that debuted in January sets will likely find their way onto Pick a Brick between March and May of this year.
With that in mind, we've picked out some new elements that we can't wait to see on Pick a Brick. There's no guarantee that this will show up, although it's likely for the majority of them.
At the top of the list has to be the helmeted baby heads from the LEGO City Ridez sets, now available in red, green, yellow, and white, along with their bodies. While the sets themselves are not expensive if you're after these tiny minifigures, if you want to create a baby army (words we didn't think we'd write), having them accessible on Pick a Brick would make it much easier. Considering the blue version, MINI FIGURE, BABY HEAD, NO. 10, is already available on Pick a Brick, it's entirely possible.

Elsewhere in the world of minifigures, accessories like the costume parts from 71051 Series 28 Animals would be great to be able to collect once the CMF series starts to disappear from shelves. Of course, to make sure you don't miss any must-haves, make sure you download Brick Search for its minifigure scanner to scan your way through the blind boxes.
There's also the sunflower lanyard that made its debut in 60502 Airport with Airplane. While we've had minifigures with lanyards printed on their torsos before, this is the first physical lanyard that you can attach to their necks, making it easier to create custom minifigures with hidden disability representation.

Plus, there's a range of new leaves and botanical elements available in the January sets, including 1x3 green leaves and 1x1 fronds that trail down. Greater diversity means greater flexibility when building, taking leafy builds to the next level.
We've gathered together all the details from the elements we've got our eyes on in the table down below.
