Half of 2026's LEGO anniversaries are getting celebratory content

2026 is going to be a big year for LEGO anniversaries, with half of them currently confirmed to receive some kind of celebration in sets.

As we ramp up to 2026 with new set reveals and teases, the LEGO Group has lifted the curtain on a few important details for some of the themes that will be subject to an anniversary next year. Four such themes are either celebrating or would be deserving of an anniversary next year, with two currently confirmed for celebratory efforts in official sets.

Here's a look at the LEGO themes celebrating an anniversary in 2026, and whether they are confirmed to have some celebratory content next year.

Batman's 20th anniversary

The most recent batch of news confirmed that LEGO Batman / DC's 20th anniversary would be commemorated through 76330 Batman Logo, which includes a golden minifigure and a printed circular tile designed for the anniversary. The logo build also features references to various Batman icons and villains, all tying into the overall anniversary of the LEGO superhero iteration.

NINJAGO's 15th anniversary

LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary plans have only been confirmed to include a range of seven minifigures, all of which have not yet been revealed, scattered across NINJAGO Legacy sets in 2026. This is a similar strategy to LEGO Star Wars' recent anniversary in 2024. NINJAGO Legacy is the subtheme that revisits previous models and remakes them, which is similarly fitting for the theme's 15th anniversary.

Creator and Harry Potter's 25th anniversaries

LEGO Creator and Harry Potter will also be celebrating an anniversary in 2026, turning 25 years old each and still continuing to this day. Harry Potter did take a break between 2007 and 2010, and then from 2012 to 2018, but LEGO Batman was on a similar hiatus between 2008 and 2012. The DC theme is still officially celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, and as such, Harry Potter will turn 25 years old.

Neither theme has been confirmed or rumoured to feature any anniversary celebrations in 2026 just yet, but the LEGO Group did mark LEGO Harry Potter's 20th anniversary in 2021 with special sets and minifigures. For now, it's just Batman and NINJAGO announced to feature official anniversary content next year.
