LEGO Star Wars is rumoured to be getting a holiday diorama later this year, but this wouldn’t be the first seasonal set for the theme.
According to brick_clicker, LEGO Star Wars is going to be more festive than usual with the rumoured launch of 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama on October 1, 2023, for $40.
While this rumour is not yet confirmed and should be treated with some caution, the release of a LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special in 2020 and the annual advent calendars aren’t the only precedents for seasonal LEGO Star Wars sets.

In 2019 4002019 Christmas X-wing was released as the year’s employee-exclusive set, given as a gift to those employed by the LEGO Group and fetching high prices on the secondary market since. It included a holiday variation of a familiar ship using 1,038 pieces.
Notably, a mock-up seasonal Millennium Falcon was created as the main promotion for the 2020 LEGO Ideas Star Wars Christmas contest. We'll have to see whether or not the rumoured 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama matches this model in any way. However, given the rumoured price it would almost certainly be much smaller.

Dioramas are nothing new for LEGO Star Wars either, ranging from minifigure-scale to microscale and a Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama could be either scale, but reported minifigure suggests that they could be compatible with the possible set.
