We've had LEGO Animal Crossing sets, but soon, Animal Crossing Switch 2 players can decorate their islands with in-game LEGO items.
Nintendo has announced an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch 2, coming on January 15, 2026 and available to pre-order now. Among various new items, features, and collaborations, the new version includes LEGO items to decorate players' homes and characters. While prompted by the launch of the Switch 2, the items will also be available on the Switch via a free update.
That includes furniture and decor accessories, as well as LEGO-branded clothing for the Animal Crossing avatars. While the pictures shown off in an early look at the menu showcase the upcoming items in the LEGO Group's signature colours of red, yellow, blue, and green, players will also be able to choose different colour schemes for all the objects.
Prices range from 1,200 to 3,500 bells, with early images of how they look in place shared in a video teaser for the new update. A particularly neat inclusion is the LEGO plum blossom, a simplified version of the 10369 Plum Blossom, complete with a pot in the same colour scheme.
Some of the different palettes available for the LEGO Animal Crossing furniture include the classic brightly coloured options, a pink pastel version, a white-based option, and a monochrome one. You can also mix and match items to perfect your Aniaml Crossing home.
The new LEGO items, along with various other new island experiences, will be available via both the free update and in the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, both coming on January 15, 2026.
