Yet another LEGO Disney set rumoured for September 2023

If more proof were needed that 2023 is the year of LEGO Disney, yet another mystery set inspired by the House of Mouse is apparently on the way in September.

Between sets already released, a Collectible Minifigures series launching in May and more still rumoured, we’re already looking at a stacked year for LEGO Disney. Price comparison site brickmerge.de has now bolstered that line-up even further by listing set number 43232 under the Disney theme, with a release date of September 2023. The set will apparently be marked 10+ and include 466 pieces.

That’s basically all we have to go on for now – which leaves the door open to plenty of speculation. Could it be another one-off Disney 100th anniversary set, along the lines of 43217 ‘Up’ House, taking its cues from a classic Pixar movie? Or will it be a more traditional LEGO Disney set, perhaps based on an upcoming property, and include mini-dolls instead of minifigures?

There are certainly a couple of credible candidates that could inspire a new Disney set in the second half of the year, such as the live-action Haunted Mansion film (arriving in cinemas in July) or Disney’s next animated musical Wish (which is scheduled to debut in November). We’ll hopefully find out more about this set in the near future – if it exists at all, because a brickmerge listing is no guarantee – but September is still a good while off yet.
