LEGO Pokémon's smallest set is likely to go fast later this month, but a backup build has been shared online in case you miss out.
We're nearing the launch of LEGO Pokémon later this month, including three standard sets, a gift-with-purchase and a LEGO Insiders reward. As pre-orders continue for the range, it's been a somewhat messy situation with the biggest build and its gift-with-purchase quickly selling out. They're both fetching a high price on the secondary market, likely for the exclusivity and limited nature of the gift.
With this in mind, there's one other LEGO Pokémon set to watch out for later this month. 40911 Mini Pokémon Center is a LEGO Pokémon Insiders reward launching on February 27 for members with enough points, 2,500 to be precise. It's another release likely to sell out fast later this month, and you may well miss out on it.
While the set features a couple of exclusive stickers, the majority of the elements remain readily available in other models. This has led to Buttermaster42 devising a backup of the build without those exclusive stickers, for anyone who misses out later this month. The parts list and instructions are free at the time of writing.
Most of the parts are available on Pick a Brick right now, with only a few out of stock. Just three pieces are not on Pick a Brick at all at the time of writing, featured in more recent models. They're likely to be added in due course, but that's only speculation on our part. The total cost of these elements is just under £25. The official LEGO Insiders reward is worth £15.63 in points. Whether you want to try for the LEGO Pokémon Insiders reward or not, rest assured, there's a backup build thanks to the creativity of the online LEGO community.
