Bad news for those looking to pick up a free LEGO Mimic Dice Box GWP

LEGO Mimic Dice Box GWP out of stock in the UK, US and Europe on the day 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale gets a wide release.

LEGO Ideas 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale arrived online and in stores on April 1, at least for LEGO Insiders. Non-members have had to wait a little while longer to pick up the 3,745-piece model, which finally became available for all from today.

Celebrating 50 years of D&D, the long-awaited 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale represents a unique collaboration between the LEGO Group and Wizards of the Coast and is based on a winning fan design by Lucas Bolt.

The huge set was exclusively available for LEGO Insiders earlier this week, with purchases of the LEGO Ideas build also receiving a free 6510864 Mimic Dice Box GWP. However, to the surprise of no one, the popularity of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale means the smaller promotional set is now out of stock in the UK, US and Europe on the same day the model became available to all shoppers.

Builders in those territories will therefore have to hope the GWP makes another appearance at some point or pick up the build at a premium on the secondary market.

In addition, those ordering 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale in the UK will now have their purchases shipped to them by April 11, while those in the US will have to wait 60 days in order to receive their LEGO Ideas builds.

21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is available to order in all three territories, with those in regions such as Australia and Singapore still eligible for a free 6510864 Mimic Dice Box GWP. As an extra bonus, LEGO Insiders can also download a free exclusive D&D adventure book from the Rewards section right now and a special live D&D Game Night stream will be taking place on April 6 at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST / 12am CST.
