As release day for the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons minifigures nears, it’s time to see what the Brick Fanatics team think of the 12 characters.

With a mixed variety of new pieces, prints and all kinds of creatures unique to Dungeons & Dragons, there are plenty of reasons to love these minifigures. They should appeal to LEGO enthusiasts not acquainted with Dungeons & Dragons too, as they do for much of the Brick Fanatics team. Before these new minifigures are released tomorrow, here’s which of
Rachael – Tiefling Sorcerer

Who doesn’t want a tiny dragon that can perch on the end of their arm? Well, the Tiefling Sorcerer boasts that and more, striking an effortlessly cool pose from the tips of their horns to the end of their tail. Combining horns with bangs is a bold choice but it absolutely pulls off here with a unique hairpiece.
No detail has been skimped on when it comes to her clothing, with arm printing and dual moulded legs to boot. The purple and gold clothing compliments the red-orange skin tone of the Tiefling Sorcerer. It’s every inch the fantasy character and comes complete a spell effect, so you know they’re not just relying on the dragon to wield magic.
Matt – The Lady of Pain

I’m not usually one to pick up a full CMF set unless it’s a specific theme I’m particularly invested in. Instead, I’ll cherry-pick the characters that I feel are the most visually appealing or those that use unique pieces that might come in handy for customising other minifigures in my collection.
