Bristol is getting a second LEGO store and its official opening date has been confirmed, with not long to wait until it opens its doors.
Found in a retail park just off the M5, specifically The Mall in Bristol's Cribbs Causeway, the area was already confirmed to be getting its second LEGO store earlier this year. The first opened in 2020 in Cabot Circus and will now be joined by another official retail location, complete with all the usual features like the Pick a Brick Wall and Build a Minifigure Tower.
The LEGO Group has now confirmed an official opening date, with the store opening its doors on November 7, as reported by Gloucestershire Live. The 178 square metre store will bring the number of UK stores to 20.
“We are delighted to expand the LEGO Retail store portfolio by opening a second store in Bristol," said Shweta Munshi, VP of Marketing at LEGO Retail. "We have found the perfect site at Cribbs Mall, and the new store will allow builders of all ages to be inspired by the endless play opportunities LEGO building has to offer. This store will be a top destination for product launches and events, while acting as a hub for our LEGO community and new builders alike.”
There’s no word yet on any specific opening events for the Battersea Power Station store, but the LEGO Group tends to have freebies and exclusive gifts-with-purchase up for grabs for its first customers, so locals might want to mark November 7 in their calendars. We’ll keep you posted on any grand opening events as and when they’re announced.
