While the BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 has familiar builds, some are designed to expand on successful models from official fan designers.
The fifth series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is about to end its crowd vote stage and you still have time for one last say before the five projects picked for official sets are determined.
Of the over 300 submissions, a select few are from familiar names as official LEGO BrickLink Designer Program fan designers are trying for a second or third crowd-funded model. Before the crowd vote ends, here are some models that could be a future set to expand on builds you might already have at home.
Mushroom Village
Pieces: 2,427 Stickers: 0 Minifigures: 7

After finding success in Mushroom House, which is now sold out after being fully funded in the second series, JonasKramm is hoping to expand on their miniature world with a full mushroom village It comes complete with an upscaled ladybug, a flower windmill and a tree stump with roots that extend over a waterfall.
Mikado Steam Locomotive
Pieces: 3,037 Stickers: 12 Minifigures: 0

Ties 25 is sticking to trains after their Logging Railway creation in the second series, which you can still pre-order. Their Mikado Steam Locomotive in Series 5 includes the same technique for the tracks and a similarly-detailed train.
Castle Wolfstone
Pieces: 1,018 Stickers: 2 Minifigures: 4

Bricks_fan_uy isn't going to experience crowdfunding for their LEGO Castle seaside market model for some time but that doesn't mean they're less eager to pitch more BrickLink models. They're sticking to the world of LEGO Castle with the nostalgic Castle Wolfstone for Series 5, timing well with the return of the Wolfpack in
Deep Sea Discovery
Pieces: 2,585 Stickers: 0 Minifigures: 3

Rich_Herbert is keeping things nautical and appropriately wet following their Series 3 submission, which is located above the water. For Series 5, they're hoping to impress with Deep Sea Discovery, including three divers who may have started their journey at the Harbormaster's Office.
The Forest Merchants
Pieces: 1,608 Stickers: 0 Minifigures: 4

Hanwas' The Mountain Windmill series started with their Mountain Windmill in the invitational BrickLink Designer Program and has already continued with the Ocean House in the second series – which you can pre-order now – and it may see a third entry in the form of The Forest Merchants in Series 5.
