Camp out with project's one-month trip to 10K on LEGO Ideas

In exactly one month, the LEGO Gizmo fan designer has another project in the running for a future set in a serene camping scene.

When terauma first pitched Camping Trip on October 2, 2024, they might not have expected the project to reach 10,000 supporters in exactly one month. That's what's just happened though as the idyllic holiday model now stands a chance at getting a future official model.

Using around 1,500 pieces, three minifigures and a dog are enjoying the woodland with an orange tent pitched at the top of a hill. The thick trees are cleverly constructed using upside-down fern elements and autumnal leaves. The hill uses a myriad of elements on their sides and at angles to recreate the natural shaping of cliffs.

The car is similarly detailed, sitting on the lowest level of the model to give a sense of scale and height. Inside the tent, an interesting build for three puffy sleeping bags are on display. Overall, it's an impressive build that would be right at home alongside 21338 A-Frame Cabin.

It's not been approved for an official LEGO Ideas set at the time of writing but it has joined 24 other projects in the third 2024 review round.
