Celebrate Burns Night with these LEGO Scots

One LEGO builder is celebrating Burns Night in style by adapting one of the LEGO Group's most colourful sets.

Burns Night is a Scottish holiday celebrated to honour the poet Robert Burns, the author of many famous Scots poems, such as Halloween and The Banks O' Doon. Scots will celebrate in a number of ways, but usually by eating haggis, neeps, and tatties and drinking Scotch. It's celebrated each year on January 25 officially, although suppers and ceilidh are often held throughout the week.

That means that Burns Night falls today, which one LEGO fan is celebrating in brick-built style. Reddit user craicthewhip shared a picture of their adapted LEGO 40516 Everyone Is Awesome to make it appropriately Scottish, complete with two Scotty dogs as well.

Every minifigure from across the rainbow is equipped with some form of tartan, ranging from bobbled caps and kilts to miniature swords and bagpipes. The fitting accessories stand out well against the colours, adding some Scottish flair to an already colourful set.

The Reddit user added in the comments that they plan to do more builds for other holidays. Perhaps a Valentine's Day model will be around the corner.
