Commander Cody rumoured to get fourth style of LEGO design

Commander Cody has already been a brick-built bust, a buildable figure, and a minifigure but now he's rumoured to be making it as a fourth style of LEGO character.

According to rumours sourced by reliable Instagram user 1414FalconFan via maxbaut.de, Commander Cody could get his own LEGO BrickHeadz. This would be the fourth buildable version of the popular Clone Commander, first coming to Star Wars fans' attention in the animated series, The Clone Wars. The rumoured price of $9.99 fits with what we would expect for a solo character from LEGO BrickHeadz and it's believed to be launching on May 1, always a big month for Star Wars fans thanks to Star Wars Day on May 4.

Commander Cody first appeared in LEGO form as a minifigure in 2008, making his debut in 7676 Republic Attack Gunship. Since then, he's had two other minifigure designs, including one in 2022 for 75337 AT-TE Walker, as well as appearing as a buildable figure in 2015's 75108 Clone Commander Cody and as a brick-built bust joining the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection in 2023.

If the rumours are true, this would mark the fourth distinctive style for Commander Cody within the world of LEGO – and that's not counting all the different minifigure designs. Take the upcoming LEGO BrickHeadz rumour with a pinch of salt for now, but we'd expect to see confirmation from the LEGO Group in the next few months if it is on its way.
