More details of rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2024 sets have emerged

Piece counts for a number of new LEGO Star Wars sets rumoured to be releasing in the first half of 2024 have now begun to emerge.

Recent rumours suggest that more than a dozen new LEGO Star Wars sets may be releasing in 2024, with models covering the prequel era, original trilogy and spin-off TV shows. Hints of what’s to come follow closely on the heels of the official reveal of 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship, although the listing for that build has since been removed from the official US online store.

In addition to the first details of what could be some of next year’s upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets, more information on what to expect from the potential 2024 builds has now emerged. Thanks to price comparison site brickmerge.de, piece counts for five of the models can now been added to what we already know about the possible sets.

Said to be an 18+ midi-scale model of the Corellian freighter, the new version of the iconic ship is rumoured to consist of 921 pieces, potentially making it larger (or more detailed) than 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer.

A minifigure-compatible version of the Rebel Blockade Runner was last released back in 2019, although this new 18+ version may be midi-scale and feature 654 pieces.

A current buildable version of everyone’s favourite Astromech droid is still available in the shape of 75308 R2-D2. Next year’s iteration looks to possibly be half that size, coming in at 1,050 pieces.

LEGO Star Wars 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulbas Podracers

The first-ever prequel diorama might be racing into view in 2024, with the rumoured LEGO Star Wars set now said to include 718 pieces, which would make it similar in size to 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama.

LEGO Star Wars 75324 DARK TROOPER BATTLEPACK featured 1024x576

With what’s reported to be 502 pieces in the set, this model might be larger than 75324 Dark Trooper Attack or include more minifigures to really fill out the scene.

As with all rumours, do treat this new information with speculation for now, until such time as any official confirmation on the sets becomes available from the LEGO Group.
