Did LEGO Star Wars' holiday diorama just confirm a fan theory?

LEGO Star Wars 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama includes two lightsabers, which could confirm a popular fan theory.

Finn's story arc in the sequel Star Wars trilogy was confused at best and bitterly disappointing at worst (even to John Boyega himself). Episode VII set up Finn to be Force-sensitive, a storyline that was abandoned in the following two films as Finn was separated from Rey and she drew ever closer to Kylo Ren. While Finn was never confirmed to be Force-sensitive, him going down the path of becoming a Jedi and joining Rey's new academy is a popular fan theory that many are clamouring for. After all, there were several instances where Finn seemed to be aware of knowledge he couldn't ordinarily have known, such as the moment Rey died in The Rise of Skywalker and, while on Exegol, Finn knew which Star Destroyer was the one navigating the Empire's entire fleet, simply because he "feels it".

The recent reveal of 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama might also add some merit to this theory. It includes two lightsabers (despite one being not quite right), one for Rey and one for Finn, as he's seen posing with it in the set imagery.

Whether he's simply borrowing the lightsaber to carve the holiday turkey or not, the fact that the Millennium Falcon has not one, but two lightsabers lying around seems to suggest there are two people using them more often than not. Unless Chewie has some latent Jedi powers that are manifesting after literal decades of being friends with multiple Jedi, Finn seems to be the likely candidate.

We wouldn't suggest reading too much into the inclusion of two lightsabers, seeing as this is probably just a fun LEGO Star Wars holiday set, but it certainly does offer some food for thought. After all, we have more Star Wars movies on the (far-off) horizon. Perhaps they could follow Finn taking up his place in Rey's academy? Only time will tell...
