Dr Eggman rumoured to get his own mech in LEGO Sonic summer 2025 wave

Rumoured set names have emerged for the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog summer 2025 wave, offering a better idea of what to expect.

The latest rumours from Brick Tap, reported by Clay Bricks on Instagram, offer set names for two LEGO Sonic summer sets, 77005 Knuckles vs Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech and 77006 Team Sonic Command Truck. Both were previously rumoured with prices of $39.99 and $59.99 respectively.

77005 Knuckles vs Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech adds yet another mech to the LEGO system, this time seemingly manned by Dr. Eggman himself. The description of 'Egg Crusher' does offer some fun play features that might help it stand out from the wealth of other brick-built mechs already crowding the market.

The more expensive and likely larger set is 77006 Team Sonic Command Truck, which will surely be some sort of vehicle. The higher price and the 'Team Sonic' in the name could mean that we get a fair few minifigures to round out the full 'team,' although that's just speculation for now.
