Earning LEGO Fortnite rewards is going to get a lot easier

Epic Games has announced a revolutionary update that will simplify our lives by affecting the passes for Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and more.

A new announcement from Epic Games has detailed some major changes coming to passes in all major modes, including LEGO Fortnite. By December 1, experience earned in any mode will go towards levels in any of the premium passes. This means that you can earn free or paid rewards in LEGO Fortnite by playing Battle Royale, Festival and Rocket Racing.

All levels in the free and premium tracks of the LEGO passes require you to earn studs to unlock them by completing a specific selection of quests in-game at the time of writing but on December 1, studs will be retired entirely and you'll instead make your way through the LEGO pass just by earning experience in any mode.

The passes are not going to be made available for free entirely, but this is going to make it a lot easier to earn free rewards for LEGO Fortnite by playing everything from Rocket Racing to Creative as well as the main LEGO mode. Also teased at the end of the announcement is a hint that you'll be able to access rewards across all three premium passes at once, possibly via a bundle.

The blog post ends with what might be the most exciting reveal – that individual items will be available to purchase separately in all passes (up to a limit) without unlocking them by earning experience. The change is coming to LEGO Fortnite and Battle Royale on December 1 and to Festival on November 1.
