Every dinosaur in the 2022 wave of LEGO Jurassic World

Every dinosaur in the 2022 wave of LEGO Jurassic World

Nine sets join LEGO Jurassic World this year, bringing an all-new range of dinosaurs big and small to collect and populate your custom parks.

From DUPLO to the standard system of LEGO sets, the designers have included one of the most varied collections of LEGO dinosaurs yet in the newest wave of Jurassic World models based on the upcoming Dominion movie.

With official images, let's take a closer look at all the new dinosaur variants featured in the latest wave as Jurassic World embraces its namesake for a globe-spanning adventure.

Triceratops

Triceratops are one of only two dinosaurs to be featured in both DUPLO and System as part of the upcoming range, making appearances as an infant in 10938 Dinosaur Nursery and as a minifigure-scale dinosaur in 76950 Triceratops Pick-up Truck Ambush.

Pteranodon

The Pteranodon joins the previously mentioned list with a silent 'p' as well as an orange and blue version in 10938 Dinosaur Nursery and 76943 Pteranodon Chase, allowing you to collect the flying dinosaur for a minimal price.

Brachiosaurus

We've yet to get a minifigure-scale Brachiosaurus likely due to the undoubtedly huge size that it would need to be, brick-built or otherwise. However, the creature lives on as an infant in 10398 Dinosaur Nursery.

Atrociraptor

Moving on from the DUPLO set, Atrociraptors are a fresh breed of dinosaurs for LEGO Jurassic World and use an entirely new element to represent them. They feature in two colours as part of 76945 Atrociraptor Dinosaur: Bike Chase and 76948 T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout.

T. rex

The ever-abundant T. rex has become a classic staple of LEGO Jurassic World thanks to the iconic and ferocious nature of the dinosaur. Two different T. rexes are included in the latest wave with a brown and tan variant in 76948 T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout as well as a green version in 76944 T. rex Dinosaur Breakout.

Velociraptor

The familiar blue has an all-new colour scheme for the LEGO version of the dinosaur character as part of the newest sets and comes alongside an infant Velociraptor in 76946 Blue & Beta Velociraptor Capture.

Quetzalcoatlus

76947 LEGO Jurassic World Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush 1024x835

As easily the largest flying LEGO dinosaur yet, the Quetzalcoatlus (try saying that five times fast) is only included in one model – 76947 Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush.

Pyroraptor

Another raptor species joins the lineup for 2022 with the Pyroraptor making their debut to LEGO Jurassic World in 76951 Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport.

Dilophosaurus

Dilophosaurus 1024x835

As suggested in the set name, 76951 Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport also includes a second dinosaur in the form of another Dilophosaurus using the relatively fresh element introduced in 2019.
