This popular build has been expanded to 50,000 total sets, and they're nearly sold out.

LEGO BrickLink 910051 Mushroom Village 6 1024x723

Though some of the furnishings have changed inside, JonasKramm's distinct touch is still present in the final design. It's off to a slow start in the crowdfunding stage, but there's still plenty of time and stock to add this build to your collection.

LEGO BrickLink 910052 Popcorn Wagon 4 1024x554

Series 5's Popcorn Wagon by Mictur is one of the smallest LEGO BrickLink Designer Program sets, adding one more minifigure than initially proposed. Series 5: The Thieves of Tortuga

Pieces: 4,002 Minifigures: 13 Stickers: 7 Designer: Krackenator

LEGO BrickLink 910053 The Thieves of Tortuga 8 1024x421

Series 6: The Art Factory

Pieces: 2,499 Minifigures: 8 Stickers: 13 Designer: Brickester

LEGO BrickLink Series 6 the art factory 1024x683

Brickester returned in Series 6 with The Art Factory, eschewing its modular design from Series 5 but keeping the same footprint in case you want to modify it accordingly. Such modifications shouldn't be difficult, but the non-modular design has allowed for details within the foundation, such as a rat and extra artwork.

Series 6: Off-road Adventure

Pieces: 859 Minifigures: 2 Stickers: 0 Designer: KingCreations

lego bricklink designer program series 6 off road adventure 1 1024x768

lego bricklink series 6 outlaw forest den 2 1024x768

The Wolfpack have a home thanks to Brickhammer's Outlaw Forest Den, packing in a lot of volume for under 2,500 pieces. Thanks to a new stock reallocation strategy, it didn't sell out during crowdfunding for Series 6, but was certainly the most popular model.

Pieces: 663 Minifigures: 0 Stickers: 0 Designer: Leewan

WALT the little robot bricklink series 7 1024x768

terauma antique collection bricklink series 7 1024x768

The Antique Collection by terauma is proposed as a place to display your favourite pieces and minifigures in a vintage furniture recreation. It will be interesting to see how this project performs when crowdfunding for Series 7 starts.

Pieces: 2,126 Minifigures: 6 Stickers: 1 Designer: Shram

bricklink series 7 alchemists shop 1024x768

Series 7: Sushi Restaurant

Pieces: 3,409 Minifigures: 7 Stickers: 4 Designer: Brickproject

brickproject sushi bricklink series 7 1024x768

Brickproject has another spot in the BrickLink Designer Program with their staggering 3,409-piece sushi restaurant. The modular design of this model makes it a perfect fit for a city display with minor modifications to the base, and the track section is removable, as well.

Series 8: Coconut Cape

Pieces: 2,425 Minifigures: 8 Stickers: 0 Designer: BallisticBricks

LEGO Bricklink series 8 coconut cape fan design 1024x768

LEGO Pirates continues to have a spot in the BrickLink Designer Program with Series 8. BallisticBricks' Coconut Cape comes with 2,425 pieces and eight minifigures with an in-depth fortress that should be more affordable than the current The Thieves of Tortuga.

Series 8: University of Science

Pieces: 3,995 Minifigures: 13 Stickers: 7 Designer: KingCreations

LEGO Bricklink series 8 university of science fan design 1 1024x768

KingCreations is back in the BrickLink Designer Program in Series 8, finally bringing their University of Science concept to life as a set, and easily adding education to your LEGO cities, but almost certainly for a high price.

Series 8: Hot Air Balloon

Pieces: 876 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 0 Designer: ExeSandbox

LEGO Bricklink series 8 hot air balloon fan design 2 1024x768

ExeSandbox looks likely to be the most affordable build of Series 8, recreating a colourful balloon soaring in the skies with a pair of birds, a minifigure and a dog floating on a sea of clouds, perfect for a simple but effective display.

Series 9: The Fisherman's Village

Pieces: 3,995 Minifigures: 11 Stickers: 5 Designer: rocknbricks31

LEGO BrickLink Series 9 The Fishermans Village 2 1200x900

The largest set from Series 9 by far, rocknbricks31's The Fisherman's Village recreates a series of colourful buildings, including a lighthouse out to sea to help guide in the brick-built boat. Every interior is accessible from what appears to be an open back, with richly decorated interiors and several minifigures to flesh out the displays.

Series 9: Sleepy Dragon Inn

Pieces: 2,981 Minifigures: 8 Stickers: 6 Designer: MarinBD

LEGO BrickLink Series 9 Sleepy Dragon Inn 1 1200x900

The BrickLink Designer Program has been a treasure trove of fan-designed medieval or Castle sets, and MarinBD's Sleepy Dragon Inn is Series 9's example. The cosy inn evokes memories of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, but with even more pieces – and even more detail, including interactive features activated by turning the tree trunk, which in turn makes the chicken spin in the fireplace, guests dance on the carpet, and the bard spin on stage.

Series 9: Pumpkin Patch

Pieces: 565 Minifigures: 2 Stickers: 0 Designer: SofieBuilds

LEGO BrickLink Series 9 Pumpkin Patch 1 1200x900

SofieBuilds' Pumpkin Patch is the smallest set of the lot, populated by just two minifigures on the 565-piece model. A squarely autumnal build that will surely be popular when crowdfunding opens in October, it's packed with pumpkins and warm-coloured flowers to evoke the crisp time of year.
