LEGO Minecraft is slowly working its way through the list of default skins, including the recent additions, but there are still a few minifigures missing.
The launch of the first LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary is coming on October 2, 2025, and recently, the book's exclusive minifigure was revealed to be a must-have for collectors of a specific group of LEGO Minecraft minifigures.
Makena is the exclusive minifigure in the first LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary. She's one of the new default skins that were added to the game in 2022, joining Steve and Alex to increase the diversity of the game's vanilla skin options.
She'll join the minifigures of Steve, Alex, Sunny and Efe when she launches in the book later this year, confirming that this particular collection of minifigures is just over halfway to being complete.
Alex and Steve have been in numerous sets, but Efe and Sunny are just as exclusive as Makena, featured in 2024's 21253 The Animal Sanctuary and 21260 The Cherry Blossom Garden, respectively. The former set is now retired, leaving collectors with the challenging task of finding a secondhand copy.
We're still missing minifigures of Ari, Kai, Noor and Zuri, but with the consistent release of LEGO Minecraft sets with new minifigures covering more than Steve and Alex, it's almost certainly only a matter of time until this collection can be completed.
In the meantime, the world of LEGO books recently expanded with a LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia complete with an exclusive The Rise of Skywalker Palpatine minifigure. There's also the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Explore the Spider-Verse book with a Cyborg Spider-Man minifigure coming soon on May 9, 2025.
