Every LEGO set retiring in 2024 – August update

We're over halfway through 2024 after models and a theme retired in July but there are plenty of LEGO sets to grab before they retire in 2024.

Following the retirement of several sets at the end of last month including the rest of the LEGO Avatar range (though remaining stock is still available and on sale), we're looking towards the end of the year to see what else is retiring in 2024.

Every LEGO set has to retire eventually, as proven last month, and while the curtain call is coming soon for hundreds of builds, there's still plenty of time to pick them up. Consider that 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad is one of a few gifts currently available with qualifying purchases and that these retiring sets will count towards the £180 / $200 / €200 threshold too.

With over four months remaining in 2024, here's every LEGO set still scheduled to retire later this year but remember that these dates are subject to change at any time and likely will before the year is through.

LEGO Star Wars retiring sets 2024

Despite the upcoming release of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy and the recent launch of the special's corresponding sets, don't forget that several builds are retiring later this year, including the huge 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina.

LEGO Ideas retiring sets 2024

Of the many retiring LEGO Ideas sets, 21339 BTS Dynamite is discounted on the official online store. Those not quite taken by LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog's first adult-focused set might want to pick up 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone before it retires too.

LEGO Marvel retiring sets 2024

LEGO Marvel's shift towards diorama-style sets in 2024 might provoke you to pick up the retiring 76266 Endgame Final Battle, which includes a couple of exclusive minifigures too.

LEGO Harry Potter retiring sets 2024

There's no notable change to the list of retiring LEGO Harry Potter sets this month but there's still reason to focus on the theme before Back to Hogwarts at the start of September. The theme qualifies for a low-threshold gift-with-purchase for a couple more days, including 76405 Hogwarts Express - Collectors' Edition which will score you 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad too.

LEGO Indiana Jones retiring sets 2024

LEGO Indiana Jones' only three sets are still retiring at the end of 2024 as signs are pointing towards the adventures being over with for now.

LEGO Technic retiring sets 2024

LEGO Technic rolls into August with the usual array of retiring sets with some massive models to provide a challenge to enthusiasts of the theme, including 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter.

LEGO Icons retiring sets 2024

From the only current LEGO Ghostbusters sets to the oldest current Winter Village build, LEGO Icons has many models retiring this year but with the Christmas season approaching, don't forget to add 10308 Holiday Main Street to your collection

LEGO Architecture retiring sets 2024

LEGO Architecture's retiring sets for 2024 still only include just 21056 Taj Mahal and 21057 Singapore, both offering the usual high level of detail from the theme.

LEGO NINJAGO retiring sets 2024

LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising Season 2's second part is on the way after San Diego Comic-Con and there's still time to catch up on the theme's various retiring sets based on the first season in the meantime, including 71795 Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores.

LEGO DREAMZzz retiring sets 2024

Those who have been enjoying the relatively new LEGO DREAMZzz theme might want to prioritise its earliest sets in the last months of 2024 as there's plenty still up for retirement.

LEGO Batman / DC Super Heroes retiring sets 2024

As rumours swirl of LEGO DC finally stepping beyond Batman in 2025, there's still lots of time to catch up on the theme's Caped Crusader models, including 76240 Batmobile Tumbler.
