Following a raft of recent rumours, the first LEGO x Fortnite model may have been officially revealed, but it might not be what you expected.
There have been rumblings of some sort of LEGO x Fortnite crossover for a while now, including a potential tease recently hinted at in a Play Unstoppable campaign video. Now, thanks to the LEGO Group’s official Product Certification page, we may have been given our first look at a set based on the hugely-popular video game.
A listing on the site has revealed a product called 5008257 MS LLAMA V29, which looks strikingly like a Fortnite Loot Llama. The model seems to be a relatively small build, one that only appears to use a handful of colourful elements.

The product code for the set may suggest this is a promotional polybag of some sort, potentially created as part of a larger upcoming campaign for a possible LEGO x Fortnite collaboration. However, that remains pure speculation on our part, so do treat such musings as such for now until we hear anything official from the LEGO Group.

In Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, Loot Llama’s can be smashed open by players to reveal stacks of goodies inside such as schematics, survivors, heroes and other valuable resources. The first image of 5008257 MS LLAMA V29 closely matches the look of a Loot Llama, which might suggest details of a possible LEGO x Fortnite crossover may soon be forthcoming.
