Images of the next LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary set to include an exclusive minifigure have popped up on a LEGO Certified Store.
Australian online store LEGO Bricks Megastore has published the first official images of 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder, a 1,186-piece set that includes instructions for four different astromech droids: R2-D2, Chopper (C1-10P), QT-KT and R5-J2. Seemingly designed with astromech minifigure proportions in mind, the focus with these droids – in contrast to the just-revealed 75398 C-3PO – is purely on customisation.
Included alongside the four droids, which all have interchangeable legs and rotating domes, are an entire brick-built wardrobe of accessories with which to customise them. There’s a cowboy hat, moustache, sunglasses, headphones, a top hat, a bow tie and more, all freely available to swap between the different characters. The designers clearly knew what they were doing making Chopper look like a stereotypical moustache-twirling villain in these images…
75392 Creative Play Droid Builder also includes another LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure with display stand, this time in the form of Young Princess Leia from the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series. She comes equipped with a new printed tile for her droid L0-LA59, better known as Lola, and joins ARC Trooper Fives, Darth Malak, Saw Gerrera and Cal Kestis in the 25th-anniversary line-up.
You’ll be able to get your hands on 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder from August 1, 2024 alongside 75389 The Dark Falcon,
We should learn confirmation of those prices relatively soon, as 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder is already listed on the official LEGO Building Instructions portal.
