First look at massive LEGO Fortnite mech set in person

One of the new LEGO Fortnite summer 2025 sets has yet to launch, but here's a first look at 77078 Mecha Team Leader in person for now.

A LEGO event at Unreal Fest, attended by Fortnite UGC Developer Enderbite, featured all four LEGO Fortnite summer 2025 sets for attendees to admire in person. This includes the upcoming 77078 Mecha Team Leader, which is being released on August 1.

The reason why 77078 Mecha Team Leader was not launched at the same time as 77075 Peely & Sparkplug's Camp, 77076 Durrr Burger Restaurant and 77077 Klombo is unknown, but the set is finished and ready to be showcased.

The huge LEGO mech towers over the other LEGO Fortnite summer 2025 sets, even the similarly massive 77077 Klombo. This image also helps to showcase how the set can be posed, revealing that its heavy arm can be raised and held there without the joints giving way.

With a month to go until 77078 Mecha Team Leader stomps onto shelves, it's good to know that the set is sturdy and huge in person. When it is released on August 1, it will come with not one but two digital outfits with matching LEGO Styles for use within Fortnite.

In the meantime, three other new LEGO Fortnite sets are now available with exclusive minifigures and matching digital outfits.
