We're getting closer to crowdfunding for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6, and you can expand on these builds with official models.
Crowdfunding for the sixth series of the BrickLink Designer Program begins on October 6, 2025, at 8am PT, and with the recent announcement of sets retiring at the end of 2025 (long before the five fan-designed builds will arrive at your doorstep), there are some official sets to keep in mind that can easily expand your future displays.
Here are the official LEGO sets that you use to expand on the five BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 models, all of which are available now, with some retiring at the end of this year.
1 – Cabins for Off-Road Adventure
KingCreations' Off-road Adventure has three minifigures, but only one tent and sleeping bag for them to stay in on their adventure. LEGO Friends'
It has also been confirmed that Off-road Adventure will expand on 910041 Camping Adventure for those who already own the limited-edition BrickLink Designer Program build.
2 – A family road trip on the Sequoia Tree Trail
The huge trees in Piece_On_Earth's Sequoia Tree Trail seem likely to draw a crowd of nature-loving minifigures, and it's not out of the question to think that a family of minifigures would visit the huge trees in
3 – A growing Wild West town
The LEGO Group's range of official Wild West models currently on shelves is nonexistent, so your best bet for a model to pair with Brickproject's Gold Mine Expedition will be another BrickLink Designer Program build. Series 1's General Store could be used alongside the set to create a growing Wild West Town, with the promise of gold drawing in minifigures from across the country.
4 – Roads for the Art Factory
Brickester's The Art Factory will display nicely next to any of the LEGO Group's modular buildings, but the non-standard base means that it won't blend perfectly with them, unlike their previous BrickLink Designer Program sets. Despite new rules limiting modular-compatible builds, Brickester's video showcase of the official The Art Factory design has demonstrated that it can still be a satisfying street display.
By adding some copies of
5 – A castle for the Outlaw Forest Den to rob
The Wolfpack have a home in the modern era of LEGO Castle thanks to BrickHammer's Outlaw Forest Den, but they're going to need somewhere and someone to rob. While the Series 6 set includes a Lion Knight convoy to ambush, their home base would be a great accompanying build for a bigger target.
