Fortnite could be about to welcome characters from LEGO NINJAGO as skins sometime soon, according to the latest online rumours.
Reliable Fortnite news account ShiinaBR, who brought us news of LEGO Fortnite's monetizable maps ahead of launch, is now reporting that Fortnite could be welcoming some characters from LEGO NINJAGO to the game sometime soon. Supposedly, this will include at least Lord Garmadon, Vex, Cole, and some other unknown figures.
After several seasons of TV, a movie, and dozens of LEGO sets, it makes even more sense for LEGO NINJAGO to make its way into Fortnite, now that Epic Games has been officially collaborating with the LEGO Group in LEGO Fortnite since the end of last year. The match has made perfect sense, with both the game and the toys being so closely tied to building.
LEGO Fortnite has already seen LEGO-fied versions of various IPs make its way onto the game mode but this would seemingly translate some LEGO NINJAGO characters into the non-LEGO Fortnite game modes. Exactly how this will function remains to be seen – and to be confirmed, so take it with the usual pinch of salt reserved for rumours for now.
