Free LEGO Bluey duck cake set coming to UK retailer soon

A free LEGO Bluey event, with a set to take home, is touring John Lewis stores across the UK soon, and here's where you need to be.

Following an initial LEGO Bluey giveaway for the launch of the theme in Australia, those of us across the pond can also celebrate the arrival of Bluey to the portfolio with a new make-and-take event at John Lewis stores next month.

A free LEGO Bluey duck cake event will be touring 10 John Lewis stores from August 2 to 31, stopping in each store for only one day. The experience is intended for those aged four and up due to smaller parts, and an image of the model being given away has been provided on the John Lewis website. No required sign-up is mentioned, and usually these events are first-come, first-served.

The build is based on the duck cake that was baked in the second season's 43rd episode, using fairly common elements but matching the 2D cake excellently. The flippers used for the beak work especially well.

Here's a list of the John Lewis stores participating in this LEGO Bluey make-and-take tour, and what times they will be hosting the giveaway. Make sure you turn up early to increase your chances of securing the Bluey build.

Once you've taken your family (or yourself) to the event, you might want to bake a duck cake for yourself, and thankfully, an official recipe is available online.
