The LEGO Ideas team has revealed the winner of the Timeless Creations contest, choosing a fan-designed build to become a future set.
After challenging fan builders to design a brick-built celebration of a timeless object that we all know and love, the LEGO Ideas community has selected BrickStability's Vintage Sewing Machine via fan vote. That means it will be turned into an official LEGO Ideas set, with the fan designer winning 1% of the total net sales of their LEGO Ideas set, ten complimentary copies of the final product, and credit and a bio as the LEGO Ideas Fan Designer in the set materials.
As well as recreating a vintage sewing machine in working order, Vintage Sewing Machine includes brick-built accessories of a pair of tailor's scissors and spools of coloured thread to bring the build to life.
The runners-up will also receive three LEGO sets as prizes – 21323 Grand Piano, 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, and 10334 Retro Radio – for making it into the fan vote stage. That includes 2A2A's Carousel Music Box, FMDavid's Detailed Classic Retro Television, cable_girl's Rustic Barn Lantern, and lexie_blue's Rocking Horse.
