Hands-on with all five LEGO One Piece sets

Hands-on with all five LEGO One Piece sets

Take a closer look at the five new LEGO One Piece sets launching in just a few days, including new pieces and minifigures, in our latest video.

It's nearly launch day for the next big LEGO theme, recreating the action from Netflix's adaptation of One Piece across five upcoming sets, and we're taking a closer look at all of them. From the builds to the features and the minifigures, here's everything you need to know about the first LEGO sets based on an anime.

The five LEGO One Piece sets include 75636 Windmill Village Hut, 75637 Buggy the Clown's Circus Tent, 75638 Battle at Arlong Park, 75639 The Going Merry Pirate Ship and 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant. We've got a few tips on which builds to prioritise on August 1 and which builds can wait until later. Tune in to our latest video to find out more.

75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant is the biggest build, and it appropriately has the most enticing minifigure selection, but it's not the build to get above all others in LEGO One Piece. That honour goes to 75639 The Going Merry Pirate Ship, offering features that even those with no interest in the anime or manga will enjoy.

The new LEGO pirate theme may not be precisely what you were expecting, but the LEGO designers have come out of the gates swinging with these five sets, impressing at almost every turn. Stay tuned for our written reviews of all five LEGO One Piece sets as well, for a more in-depth review of each model individually.

Otherwise, all five LEGO One Piece sets and two BrickHeadz will be released on August 1, and there's still time to pre-order some of the builds.
