The four LEGO Fortnite sets are now available and here's how you can redeem a free LEGO Fortnite bundle when you register the new sets.
Anyone picking up the new LEGO Fortnite sets this month should remember that you can score a free Operation Brite bundle in-game when you register the builds. While we've gone through the process of redeeming your free item before, there's an important extra step to be aware of.
Here's an updated guide on how to redeem the free Operation Brite cosmetic and decor bundle when you buy any of the four new LEGO Fortnite sets.
The first step once you've opened the box is to get out your instructions manual. Then, open your camera app on your smart device and scan the QR code on the front page of the instructions for any of the four LEGO Fortnite sets. You'll be given the option to navigate over to the LEGO Builder app (via LEGO.com).
Those who haven't done so already should set up a LEGO account, link it to their Epic Games account and log in to the app. You can link your accounts under the 'account management section' on your profile page on LEGO.com. You can find more details here.
Once you've set everything up and scanned the instructions, the LEGO Builder app will open and you'll see a pop-up picturing the set. You might be tempted to press the close button on the top right but you need to avoid doing so. Instead, you can scroll down despite no clear indication that you can do so and find a button to get your code to redeem in Fortnite.
Click that button and you'll be sent to a browser where you can reveal your unique code by clicking on the yellow area. Then, enter the code into the Fortnite website or in-game. Now you should see the Operation Brite bundle in your account the next time you play Fortnite.
Should you close the pop-up before finding the section at the bottom, we have not yet found a way to trigger it again, but you may be able to remove the model and re-register it. There is no option to gain the code on the set's listing at the time of writing.
