It's double trouble for LEGO Deadpool & Wolverine trailers

The LEGO animator from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has debuted their take on the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer in LEGO form.

LEGO Deadpool and Wolverine trailers are surprisingly similar to buses – you wait for one and suddenly two arrive in a single day. Following the first unofficial LEGO recreation of the film's recent trailer earlier today, Preston Mutanga has offered their iteration of the trailer after their work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The two LEGO Deadpool & Wolverine trailers have quite a few similarities, but Mutanga's version features different lighting more reminiscent of the LEGO Movie and their scene from Across the Spider-Verse.

Comparing the two may be interesting but there's little doubt that both animators have done an incredible job at recreating the fast-paced action and emotion from the new trailer.

Given the film's trailer and the subject material of previous Deadpool movies, don't expect any LEGO Deadpool & Wolverine models in the near or far future. While Wolverine has been featured in a few sets in recent years including 76281 X-Men X-Jet, Deadpool's minifigure is significantly rarer. The iconic Marvel character has only widely featured in 2012’s 6866 Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown and it fetches a high price on the secondary market as stated in our earlier report.

Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theatres on July 26 as the only Marvel Studios movie in 2024.
