Jeepers! LEGO Ideas Scooby-Doo project gains 10,000 votes

The Scooby-Doo gang could be making their return to the LEGO system via the latest LEGO Ideas project to join the 10k club.

Swedish LEGO fan designer Tobnac has had the first of their four LEGO Ideas projects gain 10,000 votes, a detailed recreation of Scooby-Doo! And the Ravenwood Mansion. The thin facade of the house has rooms inside and is packed full of spooky features you'd expect to see from an overgrown and inevitably haunted mansion.

"This is a series that I have a very deep love for since I was a kid," wrote Tobanc. "Scooby-Doo was a big part of my childhood and even my parents watched them when they were small. This is an IP [that the LEGO Group] has already made some sets on, but this time I wanted to explore a way to incorporate a play set and display set."

Tobnac designed the LEGO Ideas submission to work both as a playset, with enough accessories and interactive features to make it engaging after building, and to display on a shelf, with an impressive outer facade that looks good both from afar and up close.
