LEGO 2K Drive finally receives much-needed Creators Hub update

A much-needed Creators Hub update has now been added to LEGO 2K Drive, allowing players to share their vehicle designs with others.

LEGO 2K Drive has had a number of updates and content added since launch, with the most recent being last month’s Season 1 Drive Pass. However, players now have a new reason to celebrate from today, with the announcement of the Creators Hub finally coming to the racing title.

Once LEGO 2K Drive has been updated on your platform of choice, simply select the Creators Hub menu and you’ll be taken to the Depot. From there it’ll be possible to access a number of new options that many players have been patiently waiting for since launch.

Filtered Browsing allows players to see uploads from others around the globe, with the ability to view content by using a variety of filters such as Street, Off-Road, and Water vehicles, vehicles uploaded by your 2K Account Friends, and vehicles you’ve previously Downloaded or Upvoted. It’s also possible to sort the LEGO 2K Drive Creators Hub vehicles in alphabetical order, by 2K account name Share Code number and by those players in your friends list.

Once you’ve selected a vehicle you like the look of, just press Download and confirm your decision to add it to your Garage. Any LEGO 2K Drive craft that you do grab will appear in the Downloads tab, where you can then add them to your Loadout and race around Bricklandia.

Most exciting of all though is the ability to finally share vehicles in LEGO 2K Drive with others. Any craft you create in your Garage can be uploaded to the Creators Hub, where it will go through a moderation process before becoming accessible to the rest of the community. Each player is currently allowed to upload a total of 30 vehicles, with any new creations replacing your older submissions.

Although the Creators Hub update is available to download from today on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, the Nintendo Switch version is said to be ‘coming soon,’ so players on that console will have to wait slightly longer to try out the latest in-game features.

The official trailer for the upcoming LEGO MASTERS USA Season 4 recently dropped, revealing that a LEGO 2K Drive tie-in challenge will be featured in the show, alongside a buyable model of a winning build from the latest series. VIP members also currently have the opportunity to win a LEGO 2K Drive prize bundle and a LEGO Ideas challenge based on the game ends on August 1.
