LEGO 71038 Disney 100 Collectible Minifigures has already sold out in some regions

The latest series of LEGO Collectible Minifigures is already selling out in certain regions around the world, so don't hang around if Mickey, Mulan and the gang are high on your wish list.

Each series of Collectible Minifigures usually hangs around on shelves for four months, before making way for whatever comes next. But 71038 Disney 100 has already sold out at LEGO.com in the UK and Europe, and at the majority of LEGO Stores in the UK (according to the online store stock checker), roughly six weeks ahead of its scheduled retirement date of August 31, 2023.

The LEGO Store Bluewater is seemingly the only UK location that still has the 100th-anniversary minifigure selection in stock at the time of writing, where they’re presumably available for the standard price of £3.49 per blind-bagged character. But anyone hoping to add one to an online order – say, to meet the threshold for the next gift-with-purchase – is out of luck, because 71038 Disney 100 is listed as ‘sold out’.

If a product is marked as ‘temporarily out of stock’, you can usually expect it to come back at some stage, but ‘sold out’ generally means it’s gone for good. For 71038 Disney 100 to sell out already suggests it’s proved incredibly popular, because the majority of Collectible Minifigures series usually stick around the full four months (or even a little beyond that window).

The good news – at least on one side of the pond – is that 71038 Disney 100 is still in stock and available to order at LEGO.com in the US. But we wouldn’t expect Oswald, Baymax, Stitch and the rest to last much longer at this rate…
