LEGO Animal Crossing is slowly but surely introducing all the major buildings from New Horizons, and we might know which is next.
Of the three newly revealed LEGO Animal Crossing sets, one has caught our attention for its exclusive minifigure. 77053 Stargazing with Celeste is the only home of Celeste so far in LEGO Animal Crossing, debuting a new head element for owl minifigures.
Celeste is the sister of Blathers, who runs the museum throughout the games and in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she even worked at the facility in the gift shop. In New Horizons, she is not affiliated with the museum; instead, she is stargazing, matching the new LEGO set. Her lack of a current connection to the museum doesn’t stop her from introducing a new head piece that is perfect for Blathers though.
Should Celeste’s head piece be reused in the future, it would be ideal for Blathers in a set inspired by the museum. We’d also note that another LEGO Animal Crossing 2025 set recreates the Able Sisters shop, leaving just the museum (and possibly the campsite) to go out of the facilities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Reddit user Appropriate_Type6153 has already made their own museum, based on the official sets.
The head element and 77055 Able Sisters Clothing Shop suggest that the museum is next up for LEGO Animal Crossing, though when it might surface in the theme is unconfirmed at the time of writing. Celeste could even be included as a minifigure, visiting her brother since Isabelle appears in two LEGO Animal Crossing sets in different outfits.
Once the museum is eventually covered in the theme, there are still plenty of shops to cover too thanks to 77054 Leif’s Caravan & Garden Shop. The third 2025 LEGO Animal Crossing model depicts a portable shop located on Harv’s Island in New Horizons, one of eight shops operating out of caravans.
The other seven would be suitable picks for future sets too and it would be a chance to introduce minifigures of Saharah, Kicks, Jolly Redd, Reese, Cyrus, Katrina, Tortimer and Harriet from previous Animal Crossing games. The theme is expanding more than you might have expected in 2025 and it will be interesting to see exactly where it heads next.
