LEGO Art rumoured to explore Mona Lisa and Milky Way in 2024

LEGO Art's next couple of sets are rumoured to explore one of the world's most iconic artworks and a familiar astronomical object later in 2024.

According to Instagram user 1414falconfan, later this year will see the release of a new LEGO Art set inspired by the Milky Way and the Mona Lisa.

31212 The Milky Way is reported for May 2024 and it could be similar to the mosaic-style models inspired by images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope put on display in LEGO stores. It's rumoured to feature 3,091 pieces.

At 1,503 pieces, 31213 Mona Lisa is rumoured for June and the name suggests that this will be a recreation of the famous artwork by Leonardo da Vinci. This could follow 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave but exactly what form it might take is unknown as it could also take inspiration from LEGO Ideas 21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night.
