Could rumoured LEGO BrickHeadz lead to more Stranger Things models?

A recent rumour suggests a new LEGO BrickHeadz set based on Stranger Things might be coming this year, but does that leave the door open for more Netflix sets?

Stranger Things fans have had a long wait for the conclusion of their favourite Netflix TV show so far, with the two volume Season 4 having dropped way back in 2022 and Season 5 due out later this year.

Long gaps between seasons is nothing new for the series though, but whether Stranger Things’ finale can match previous outings is yet to be seen. However, the LEGO Group may already be looking ahead to Season 5’s long-awaited and much-hyped arrival, if a recent rumour proves true.

It’s been reported that a second LEGO BrickHeadz release based on the hit show may be on the way later this year in the potential shape of 40801 Lucas, Mike, Will, and Dustin. If such a model does see the light of day, it would also act as the perfect companion for 2022’s 40549 Demogorgon & Eleven.

Prior to that, fans were lucky enough to receive 75810 The Upside Down, an impressive 2,287-piece build of the two iconic Stranger Things locations. Although plenty of time has passed since both previous LEGO releases, fan demand for more sets could ultimately lead to more models being released further down the line.

It's worth noting that there’s been no hint yet that any such additional LEGO Stranger Things sets may be arriving this year and beyond, but strong hype for the show’s return could well be a deciding factor in such builds becoming a reality.

With no official release date for Stranger Things Season 5 and only rumours regarding 40801 Lucas, Mike, Will, and Dustin at this stage, the show’s brick-built future remains very much up in the air for now. While that may be the case, it’s the passion of dedicated fans of the series that could well prove to be the key factor in the LEGO Group returning to Hawkins, Indiana at some point.
