LEGO BrickLink sets are perfect for One Piece minifigures

LEGO One Piece is coming later this summer, but you don't have to wait to get a head start on the latest pirate theme thanks to BrickLink.

August 1 will see the release of five new LEGO One Piece sets (and two BrickHeadz), based on the Netflix live-action adaptation, and these sets call back to the days of LEGO Pirates, quite literally. While they are licensed, there's still a lot for LEGO Pirates enthusiasts to love in at least a few of the new sets.

Before the sets launch on August 1, though, you'll want to consider at least one extra model for a swashbuckling display perfect for displaying the LEGO One Piece minifigures. Here are the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program sets to keep an eye one ahead of the launch of LEGO One Piece, including one that you'll be able to pre-order starting next week.

The Thieves of Tortuga

Price: £299.99 / $339.99 / €339.99 Pieces: 4,002 Release date: Jun 10, 2025 (pre-order)

Series 5's 910053 The Thieves of Tortuga is a massive port model split into two islands. As the included minifigures demonstrate, it's a perfect starting point for a LEGO Pirates display and would go well with a larger ship docked next to it, such as 75639 The Going Merry Pirate Ship.

Whether mixing in the yellow-skinned minifigures with those from One Piece, or focusing on the licensed minifigures only, 910053 The Thieves of Tortuga is a great display for LEGO One Piece and resembles Shells Town from the adaptation, too. You can take a closer look at the set by clicking here.

910053 The Thieves of Tortuga is going up for pre-order starting June 10 at 8am PT / 4pm PT for £299.99 / $339.99 / €339.99, and pre-orders will be limited, and it is entirely possible that stock will run out within the first few hours of crowdfunding. The LEGO Group has confirmed that capacity will be increased for this series, but not by how much.

Privateer Frigate Fortuna

Price: TBC Pieces: 4,000 (fan design) Release date: February 2026 (pre-order)

The crowdfunding for the Privateer Frigate Fortuna is so far away that we still don't know the final set design or pricing for this massive LEGO ship model, but the fan submission has 4,000 elements. The elegant colour scheme and scale of this build make it a perfect vessel for the few LEGO One Piece Marines minifigures.

The Marines are underrepresented in the LEGO One Piece sets so far, only featured in 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant and with no ship to call their own. Thankfully, this model will be able to help remedy this when its final design goes up for crowdfunding in February next year.
