LEGO BrickLink Series 7 approximate sales numbers revealed

Using the source code, we can figure out just how well the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets sold, compared to every other series.

Continuing our usage of the data from the BrickLink website's publicly-accessible source code, Brick Fanatics has calculated the approximate sales numbers for all five LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 models. Crowdfunding for the series has come to a close, and no further orders will be permitted. This means that the useful data in the source code will not change.

Here's a look at the approximate allocation, the percentage pre-orded and final sales numbers for each set in Series 7. All the data was recorded in the last minute of crowdfunding.

It's not surprising to see 910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna, 910060 Sushi Restaurant and 910062 Alchemist's Shop in the lead after they sold out earlier today. Based on the price, 910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna made a whopping £11,999,625 before production and other costs. Fan designers in the BrickLink Designer Program receive a 5% cut of the net sales of their sets, meaning that BrickPerfection should receive around £599,981.25

When you compare these sales numbers to those of every other BrickLink Designer Program series, you get a grasp of just how well the round performed overall.
