Ahead of opening up for pre-orders on June 10, Brick Fanatics' own Matthew got his hands on 910053 The Thieves of Tortuga to review – and safe to say, he's impressed. Be warned: he makes a very convincing case of the BrickLink Designer Program set that could end up setting you back £299.99 / $339.99 / €339.99 – but the 4,000-piece pirate-y model also speaks for itself.

For those who don't know, the BrickLink Designer Program works on a pre-order basis, with up to 30,000 sets available to pre-order. Typically, once the sets are gone, they're gone – although BrickLink appears to be increasing that upper limit for Series 5.
