LEGO City Arctic 2025 sets rumoured alongside jungle update

More rumours for 2025 include the return of the LEGO City Arctic range and a less promising rumoured update for the on-trial Jungle sets.

Lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram reports that of the many LEGO City sets rumoured and confirmed for 2025, not all of them have been revealed yet. They claim that two Arctic models are coming next year in the form of 60470 Arctic Explorer Express Train for $209.99 and 60471 Arctic Explorer Science Truck for $109.99.

While we've had quite a few trucks in the LEGO City Arctic range over the years, a train would be something entirely new to the collection. It would be a chance to switch things up for the usually formulaic LEGO Train sets, adding an exploration train to the mix of passenger and cargo builds.

For $209.99, 60470 Arctic Explorer Express Train would be a bit more expensive than 60336 Freight Train, which includes a full loop of track and then some. Hopefully, something similar is on the way for this rumoured set.

The source also reports that the three LEGO City Jungle sets including the new Smart Brick element trialled in the UK earlier this year will not be released at retail in 2025 after all. That may mean they need more time to be amended before they're ready for the masses to pick them up.
