LEGO CMF Series 28 designers talk inspiration, aesthetics, and more

Brick Fanatics sat down with the designers of LEGO Minifigures 71051 Series 28 Animals to learn what went into the design of the 12 characters.

Every minifigure in 71051 Series 28 Animals is based on a different animal costume, but each one features unique details and inspiration. Some are tied to iconic LEGO animals, like the frog and the crocodile, while others are included to mix up the colours and textures.

Put simply, a lot of thought went into the design of all 12 of the characters, and we've got some insight into that process straight from the horse's mouth. During Fan Media Days in Billund, Brick Fanatics' Matthew got to sit down with LEGO Minifigure Creative Lead Esa Petteri Nousianien and LEGO Graphic Designer Tore Magelund Harmark-Alexandersen to talk more about what went into the design of each and every minifigure.
