A LEGO designer has shared images of this year's LEGO Design Seminar set, an exclusive model given to attendees each year.
Images shared via BrickTap from a LEGO designer at this year's Design Seminar have given us a look at the exclusive set given to attendees this year. The LEGO Design Seminar is an annual event held for members of the LEGO design teams since 2022, with attendees taking away a unique model.
This year, the build is a circular build made up of different shades of blue, evoking the sense of LEGO Dimensions portals. The main blue build appears to sit on a black display stand, with three minifigures seemingly also included.
The box itself marks it out as something special, coming in a hexagonal shape, rather than the LEGO Group's typical rectangles. Pictures shared by thebricklettuce on Instagram also show that the box is printed with a quote from Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, former managing director of the LEGO Group and son of its founder, Ole Kirk Christiansen.
It reads: "When we know the past, we can better understand the present. When we understand the present, we are better equipped to face the future."
With the set appearing to reference the long-dormant LEGO Dimensions, along with the classic look of one of the minifigures, there seems to be a special prominence given to nostalgia here.
