Upcoming LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars event details revealed

Full details of the upcoming LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars event have now been revealed, with players getting to join the Rebels and battle the Empire.

Fortnite will be joining in with the May the 4th celebrations this week when the game receives an all-new Star Wars crossover event. Content from a galaxy far, far away will be added to Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing on May 3, with v29.40 bringing with it new skins, items, music, vehicles, items and much more.

In LEGO Fortnite, players can join the light side of the Force by building up the Rebel Village on a new island in their world and use various tools to defend the structure against attacks from the Empire. Star Ware themed weapons will include lightsabers, bowcasters, DL-44 blasters, E-11 blasters and thermal detonators.

In addition, players who make progress in the free LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure will receive unlockable rewards such as Star Wars builds and décor, with a Chewbacca skin available for upgrading to the Pass’ Premium Reward Track which costs 1,400 V-Bucks.

New LEGO Fortnite Styles will feature Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian and AWR Trooper outfits to try on and pick up, as well as original and sequel trilogy characters such as Han Solo, Boba Fett, Leia Organa, Finn, Kylo Ren and more.

Fans will be able to get to grips with all of the new Star Wars content in Fortnite when it arrives on May 3, a full day ahead of this year’s May the 4th celebrations.
