Now that the latest modular building is out in the world, you can see it side by side with its classic LEGO Castle inspiration.
Graphic designer Ashwin Visser, who worked on LEGO Icons 10350 Tudor Corner, confirmed that it's loosely inspired by a classic LEGO Castle inn of the same name, 6067 Guarded Inn.
“The name of the establishment is ‘The Old Guarded Inn,'” he explained while speaking to LEGO YouTuber Zusammengebaut. “For LEGO fans, that’s actually a very deep cut to an old LEGO set called the Guarded Inn, which was a medieval Castle set. We played with the idea of ‘what if that old set has been grown out over centuries into this building that we see here now today.”
Now that 10350 Tudor Corner is out and available to buy and build, onre redditor has put the 2025 set next to its 1986 predecessor. 6067 Guarded Inn is made up of just 230 pieces and, being almost 40 years old, features vastly different building techniques.
Visually, there's not a ton that ties the two sets together outside of the name, highlighted in a printed plaque above the door in 10350 Tudor Corner. However, you can imagine that the other buildings in the modular building have gradually sprung up around the inn with some creative imagining, especially thanks to the quirky angles present throughout 10350 Tudor Corner.
10350 Tudor Corner is available to buy now for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99, although it's on back order until January 10 in the UK. Its accompanying GWP, 40757 Corner Kiosk, is already sold out and fetching some hefty prices on the secondhand market.
