LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition comparison 

LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition has been revealed, comparing favourably to the few other sets based on the abode. 

The Burrow is finally the subject of a massive 2,405-piece LEGO Harry Potter model and for many, this will likely be their first Burrow build. The Weasley’s home has not been the topic of many models in LEGO Harry Potter’s lengthy history.  

Excluding the small build in 76404 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar, it has been represented in 4840 The Burrow, 75980 Attack on the Burrow and now in 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition. Here’s how each of those sets compares to each other in terms of their height, minifigures and more. 

Height

The LEGO Burrow builds have only gotten bigger and taller over the years. 4840 The Burrow measures over 28cm tall and 75980 Attack on the Burrow brought the height to 34cm. From September 1, 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition makes the biggest leap to 46cm tall. 

Interior

As you would expect, the interior spaces of the Burrow’s sets have only become more detailed with time and comparing 4840 The Burrow’s barebones interior to that of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition demonstrates what over a decade and a huge increase in budget will do to any LEGO model. 

Minifigures

76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition features the most unique selection of minifigures of any LEGO set based on the location so far. This is because it’s not specifically inspired by any point from the films. This means that instead of Fenrir, Bellatrix and Nymphadora, we’re instead getting Fred, George, Percy, Bill and Charlie Weasley. Some of those characters appear as minifigures for the first time in the 2024 set too. 

Exterior

While the exterior comparison between 4840 The Burrow and 75980 Attack on the Burrow is noticeable, to say the least, the differences between the latter and 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition are more subtle. The biggest difference is a change in colour scheme, accurately portraying the home at the cost of a less colourful design. 

Pieces and price

It won’t be surprising to hear that the LEGO Harry Potter Burrow sets have become bigger and more expensive with every iteration aside from the Advent build. The piece count has essentially doubled with every iteration, but the price has a more unusual pattern of growth.
