The LEGO House team have confirmed the attraction’s plans for the second half of the year, including a restaurant renovation.
The LEGO House in Billund is celebrating a major achievement this month, welcoming its highest-ever number of guests and tickets sold in each month. July 2025 alone saw a seven percent increase compared to the same month last year.
It’s also noted that MINI CHEF served more meals in July than in any previous month since opening, leading to the news that the restaurant will be closing from October 27 to March 2026 for behind-the-scenes renovations. While these renovations take place, guests can dine at the new pop-up food experience, Pick-a-Bowl by MINI CHEF.

Pick-a-Bowl by MINI CHEF will offer warm and cold bowl options inspired by global cuisines. You don’t need to worry about missing out on the exclusive MINI CHEF minifigure torso either, since they will be available with kids’ bowls during the renovation period. BRICKACCINO café will expand its menu to support the dining options during the renovation, too.
Beyond the restaurant renovation, the LEGO House team are looking forward to opening the LEGO MASTERS Academy on September 17, as well as welcoming the LEGO Ideas challenge-winning models to the attraction's exhibition.
“This summer has been record-breaking for LEGO House, with more guests than ever before enjoying the unique experiences we offer,” says Kathrine Kirk Muff, Managing Director of LEGO House.
“We’re excited to build on that momentum with the opening of LEGO Masters Academy in September, a brand-new experience that invites guests to learn new building skills and spark their creativity while having tons of fun! And with seasonal highlights like Halloween, the Holiday Season, and Build to Give all coming up, there’s never been a better time to visit the Home of the Brick.”
Keep in mind these many changes when planning your first or latest trip to LEGO House, and don’t forget to check out the LEGO Fabuland Tribute still on show in the History Collection.
