A new challenge has just launched on LEGO Ideas, turning the focus to
LEGO Ideas
Whether it's a LEGO cat marching through your modular buildings display or a blocky hamster on a LEGO wheel, the challenge is open from now until July 9 and the most important rules are that submissions must have a brick-built pet, not show any live animals and not reference any intellectual property.
Those rules don't seem too difficult to avoid and we can't imagine that it would be easy to get your cat to sit still long enough for a photo anyway. You can read our review and browse our gallery for
The grand prize for this contest includes a wealth of sets and there will be two runners-up taking home a smaller selection as well.
As usual, you create your submissions physically or digitally using a digital building tool and up to five photos can be entered per submission. Once the entry intake closes, an expert review will take place until July 16, then move to a crowd vote featuring a maximum of five entries until July 23 and the winner will be announced on July 30.
