LEGO Ideas '90s challenge may not need worry about Jumanji

Bricktacular Builds2's first submission has reached 10,000 supporters, possibly covering one in-demand property in the LEGO Ideas '90s challenge.

Jumanji might be the subject of a future LEGO Ideas set should Bricktacular Builds2 have any say in the third 2024 review. Their first submission to the platform reached 10,000 supporters one year and six months after it was uploaded, depicting the fictional Jumanji board game with minifigures and more based on the 1995 movie.

The sizable model mostly recreates the board game with an opening box, but don't look past that intricately brick-built box art on the front with the animal sculptures. Inside you'll find a pair of dice and the board itself alongside Alan Parrish's minifigure literally trapped in the game.

The five proposed minifigures for the Jumanji model include Alan Parrish (trapped in the game), Alan Parrish (freed), Sarah Whittle, Peter Shepherd, and Judy Shepherd. They even include a minifigure-scaled version of Jumanji named 'Jumini'. Four game pieces are proposed too on a display stand.

At the time of writing, four entries in the first '90s challenge cover the 1995 Jumanji movie, ranging from a similar recreation of the game to the house the movie takes place in. Should this proposed set be successful in the forthcoming review round, there would be no need to select any of those entries as the challenge winner.

The challenge remains open for submissions until January 6 and in the meantime, the third 2024 review round continues for a bit longer with 48 projects all in contention for a future set at the time of writing.
